Well, the adventure/bucket list trip has begun. Traveling on Friday the 13th has been fun.... Flight out of Manchester was uneventful, landed in Chicago midway to am over sold flight. So, got a voucher for future travel, lunch and still made it to Portland to catch the 6p bus to Astoria. Had enough time to stop and grab a burger and cocktail for dinner. People are interesting, the lady two seats away from me felt the need to speak so loudly about her 6 month marriage, that is ending..... The entire restaurant knew all the details. Just saying, inside voices, some of what she was telling her friend, should have been kept to herself but even more just between the two of them!

Arrived at hotel. Long day, now trying to put my bike back together?!? This is really when I need Patrick.   Pics to follow.
