Day 28....REST DAY.... We biked from Mitchell, SD to Sioux Falls, SD on day 27 to complete our third leg of this adventure. The weather forecast showed scattered thunder storms to our north and south. We would be riding 75 miles to try to beat the rain. As we got on the road at 7am it was interesting to look to the left and right, because in the distance you could see grey clouds. We were threading the needle to say the least. On route in a small town 35 miles outside of Sioux Falls we had the luck that on the day we traveled through was the same day that the locals had the annual children's tractor pull. What an awesome time we had watching the children compete but it truly was an opportunity to see small town America. Families coming together and cheering on each others children.

Glad to see that things have gotten much better since day one! Maybe you have to get all that over with. You're doing great! Awesome pictures… The first day on my bike this summer was this past weekend, and I am riding my bike to work today. It ain't much, but it's a start.
