Day 29...Saying goodbye to SD and hello to Minnesota. It's interesting how our perspective has changed. We all got up this morning saying, it was a short day we are only riding 71 miles. Hahaha. We all enjoyed our day of rest in Sioux Falls, some of us slept late, took walks, short bike rides, enjoyed the local restaurants. A few of the riders spouses came to visit. While they too enjoyed the visit it was an early morning of loading luggage at 7 and getting on the road. We left town by way of a beautiful bike path through a few parks to the Sioux Falls. While they aren't that large a water fall, it is a beautiful park and picnic area. Once off the bike path and onto a local road we traveled through a few small towns with populations less than a few hundred to the state boarder. Meeting Jeff, our leader rider and a native Minnesota resident....we posed for pictures and than returned to the road. Large farm lands with an intense cross wind. Keeping our bikes on the road was a challenge but....we survived. Worked up enough of an appetite for a DQ stop about a 1/4 mile down the road from our hotel. We made the 71 miles in just over 4 hrs. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

  1. See you are getting into a groove! Power on! I have a patient who would love to hear from you if you would be so kind as to reach out to her. OK if I ask her?
